Topic: Turning On the Light

Memory Verse
John 8:12

"I am the light of the world. Whoever follows Me will not walk in darkness." — John 8:12

CrossCamp Formation Truth

You don't need to see the whole road. You just need His light for today.

Morning Reflection

A trader in Kejetia market remembers when her section had no streetlights. Vendors closed early because it wasn't safe in the dark. When lights were finally installed, she said something changed beyond safety: "We could see each other's faces again."

Darkness doesn't just block your sight. It makes you feel alone.

The Word

Jesus said, "I am the light of the world." In the Bible, light usually means truth and safety, while darkness means confusion and danger.

Following Jesus doesn't mean life becomes trouble-free. It means you're not walking blind anymore. Decisions, friendships, who you are, where you're going — it all gets clearer in His light.

Wherever confusion has been running your life, Jesus is offering to switch the lights on.

A Simple Story Jesus Might Tell Today

A boy lost his way home one evening until a stranger walked ahead of him carrying a lantern. The boy didn't need to see the whole road — just enough light for the next few steps.

CrossCamp Reflection

What part of your life have you been walking through in the dark, without bringing Jesus into it?

Today's Walk

Name one confusing situation and pray specifically over it today.

Prayer for Today

Jesus, You are my light. I bring the confusing parts of my life to You today. Show me clearly. Amen.
