Topic: The Door That Opened

Memory Verse
Matthew 27:51

"The curtain of the temple was torn in two, from top to bottom." — Matthew 27:51

CrossCamp Formation Truth

The door to God isn't locked anymore. Jesus opened it for good.

Morning Reflection

Long ago, a thick curtain in the temple kept ordinary people from entering the room where God's presence was. Only one priest could go in, once a year. Everyone else stayed out.

The moment Jesus died, that curtain tore — not from the bottom, but from the top down. Only God could have torn it that way.

The Word

That torn curtain was a message: the wall between us and God was gone. You don't need a priest or a special ritual to reach Him anymore. Because of Jesus, the way to God is wide open, for anyone, anytime.

You don't have to earn your way in. You just have to walk through the door He already opened.

A Simple Story Jesus Might Tell Today

A guard once stood at a palace gate, letting in only kings and nobles. One day the king himself removed the guard and said, "My door is open to everyone now. No one needs permission to come to me."

CrossCamp Reflection

Do I approach God like the door is still closed, or like it's already wide open?

Today's Walk

Talk to God today with no formal words — just simply, like someone fully welcome in His presence.

Prayer for Today

Father, thank You for opening the way to You. Help me come close with confidence today. Amen.
