Topic: A Book That Talks Back

Memory Verse
Psalm 119:105

"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." — Psalm 119:105

CrossCamp Formation Truth

You don't need the whole road lit. Just enough light for today.

Morning Reflection

A student once said the Bible felt like a huge, confusing book she'd never finish. Then a mentor told her something that changed everything: "Don't try to read it all at once. Just read a little bit today, and let it talk to you."

She started with just one chapter a day. Small, but steady.

The Word

The Bible isn't just an old book of rules and history. It's how God still speaks to us today. Reading it isn't a homework assignment to finish — it's a conversation to have.

Think of it like a lamp on a dark path. You don't need to see the whole road at once. You just need enough light for your next step. That's what daily reading gives you — not everything all at once, just enough for today.

A Simple Story Jesus Might Tell Today

A traveler walking home at night carried a small lamp that only lit a few steps ahead at a time. He didn't need to see the whole road. He just needed enough light to keep walking safely, one step at a time.

CrossCamp Reflection

Have I been trying to "master" the Bible all at once, instead of just reading a little each day?

Today's Walk

Read one short chapter of the Bible today. Start with the Gospel of John if you're not sure where to begin.

Prayer for Today

Lord, thank You for Your Word. Help me read it daily, even just a little at a time. Amen.
