Morning Reflection

A young athlete didn't "feel" like training on cold mornings, but trained anyway because he trusted his coach's plan over his own mood. Months later, that consistency — not his feelings — was what made him strong.

The Word

Feelings change constantly — some days you'll feel close to God, other days distant, and that's completely normal. Faith isn't based on feelings. It's based on truth that doesn't change, even when your emotions do.

This doesn't mean feelings don't matter — they're real and worth paying attention to. But they're not a reliable guide for truth. Choosing to trust and obey God, even on days you don't "feel" close to Him, is exactly what faith means.

A Simple Story Jesus Might Tell Today

A sailor learning to read a compass had to trust its direction even on cloudy days when he couldn't see the stars to confirm it. The compass didn't change just because the sky did.

CrossCamp Reflection

Have I been basing my faith on my feelings instead of on what's actually true?

Today's Walk

Choose one act of obedience today, even if you don't "feel" like doing it.

Prayer for Today

Lord, help me live by faith, not just by feelings. Keep me steady even when my emotions change. Amen.
