Morning Reflection
A farmer planting cassava can't dig it up early just because he's impatient — it needs its full season underground before it's ready to harvest. Rushing it only ruins the crop.
Waiting on God can feel like that: uncomfortable, but necessary.
The Word
New believers often want everything to happen quickly — quick growth, quick answers to prayer, quick change. But some of the most important things God does happen slowly, underground, where you can't see them yet.
Isaiah promises that waiting on God doesn't drain your strength — it renews it. That's the opposite of what waiting usually feels like. But waiting on God isn't wasted time. It's often exactly where He's doing His deepest work.
A Simple Story Jesus Might Tell Today
A boy who dug up his planted seeds every few days to "check on them" wondered why nothing grew. His neighbor, who left his seeds untouched and trusted the process, harvested a full crop months later.
