Morning Reflection
A boy asked his grandfather dozens of hard questions about God — why suffering exists, why prayers sometimes seem unanswered. His grandfather, a lifelong believer, admitted honestly, "I don't have every answer either. But I still trust Him."
The Word
New believers sometimes feel pressure to have every theological question figured out immediately. You don't. Even mature believers spend a lifetime still learning and still holding some mystery.
Faith isn't the absence of unanswered questions. It's trusting God even in the middle of them. One day, Scripture says, we'll understand fully. Until then, it's okay to hold both real questions and real trust at the same time.
A Simple Story Jesus Might Tell Today
A boy looking at his reflection in a foggy mirror could see enough to know it was truly him, even if the details weren't perfectly clear yet. Later, once the fog cleared, everything came into full focus.
What question about God have I been afraid to admit I don't fully understand yet?
Write down one honest question you have for God, and simply tell Him you're still trusting Him with it.
Lord, I don't have every answer, but I trust You anyway. Thank You for being patient with my questions. Amen.
