Morning Reflection

The Word

This month wasn't about becoming a mature believer overnight. It was about learning the basics — prayer, Scripture, church, obedience, trust — the simple daily habits that every strong tree eventually grows from.

You didn't do the growing yourself. God did. Your part was simply showing up, staying rooted, and taking the next small step each day. That's still your part going forward. October moves into something new — growing deep, facing harder inner battles like pride, fear, and comparison. But the foundation laid this month is what makes that next stage possible.

A Simple Story Jesus Might Tell Today

A young sprout, still small and fragile, doesn't need to become a full tree overnight. It just needs to keep reaching toward the light, one day at a time.
