Morning Reflection

A trader who finally achieved the income he'd chased for years admitted, with some surprise, that the peace he expected to feel never actually arrived. "I thought reaching this number would satisfy me," he said. "It just made me want the next number."

The Word

Money itself isn't the problem Scripture warns about — the "love" of money is, the belief that having more will finally satisfy something deeper. That belief tends to keep moving the goalpost, no matter how much you gain.

Contentment isn't about having a lot. It's about trusting that what you have right now, combined with God's presence, is genuinely enough.

A Simple Story Jesus Might Tell Today

A boy kept refilling a cup with a hole in the bottom, confused why it never stayed full no matter how much he poured in. The problem was never how much he poured. It was the hole.

CrossCamp Reflection

Have I been chasing a "next number," believing it will finally satisfy me?

Today's Walk

Write down three things you're genuinely thankful for today, focusing on what you already have.

Prayer for Today

Lord, teach me to be content with what I have today. Help me trust that You are enough. Amen.
