Introduction

For six months, the Lord has been preparing us. He has planted us. He has rooted us. He has corrected us. He has formed our character. He has taught us discipline. He has aligned us with His vision. He has shown us how to serve faithfully.

Now, God begins another important work. He calls us to become people who reproduce what He has placed inside us. Christian maturity is not measured by how much Scripture we know. It is measured by how faithfully we help others know Christ.

CrossCamp Church is not building members who simply attend services. We are raising disciples who will become disciple-makers. The Church grows when believers intentionally invest in other believers. Just as someone once taught you, prayed for you, encouraged you, and helped you grow, God now calls you to become that person for someone else.

Part One — Jesus Never Called Us to Make Converts Only

Matthew 28:19. Jesus did not say, "Go and gather crowds." He said, "Go and make disciples." There is a difference. A convert may receive Christ. A disciple learns to live like Christ. A crowd follows when things are exciting. A disciple remains even when following Christ becomes costly. CrossCamp Church exists to raise disciples whose lives reflect Jesus every day.

What Is a Disciple? A disciple is someone who follows Jesus wholeheartedly, obeys His Word, grows spiritually, serves faithfully, and influences others toward Christ. Being a disciple is not about attending church. It is about becoming like Christ.

CrossCamp Insight: At CrossCamp, we are not counting attendance. We are cultivating transformation.

Reflective Direction: "Am I simply attending church, or am I becoming more like Jesus?"

Part Two — Disciples Reproduce Disciples

2 Timothy 2:2. Paul instructed Timothy: "Commit these truths to faithful people who will teach others also." Notice the pattern. Paul taught Timothy. Timothy would teach faithful people. Those faithful people would teach others. The Gospel multiplied because disciples reproduced disciples. Healthy churches grow this way.

Biblical Example — Jesus and the Twelve: Jesus spent most of His ministry with twelve ordinary men. He walked with them. He corrected them. He answered their questions. He allowed them to observe His life. He prayed with them. He served alongside them. Before sending them, He formed them. CrossCamp is following the same pattern. God is preparing pillars before public expansion.

Reflective Direction: "Who is growing because of my influence?"

Part Three — The Harvest Is Ready

Luke 10:2. Jesus declared: "The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few." The problem has never been the harvest. The problem has always been the availability of workers. Many admire ministry. Few embrace responsibility. CrossCamp is raising laborers. Laborers are willing to pray, serve, sacrifice, disciple, and remain faithful even when nobody applauds them.

CrossCamp Application: As we prepare for August evangelism, every pillar should begin praying for people God wants to reach through them. Your mission field may include your family, your friends, your workplace, your school, and your neighborhood. Evangelism begins long before an outreach program. It begins with a heart that loves people.

Reflective Direction: "Who has God placed around me that needs Christ?"

Part Four — A Disciple-Maker Lives What They Teach

People learn more from what they see than from what they hear. Before people believe your words, they will observe your life. Your humility, prayer life, integrity, kindness, consistency, and worship all become part of your witness. At CrossCamp Church, our lives must become living sermons.

Biblical Example — Barnabas: Barnabas encouraged new believers. He strengthened weak believers. He believed in people others overlooked. He introduced Paul to the apostles. He invested in John Mark after others had given up on him. Barnabas became a disciple-maker because he saw potential where others saw failure.

CrossCamp Reflection: A mature pillar does not ask, "Who is helping me?" A mature pillar also asks, "Whom am I helping?"

Part Five — Preparing for the Harvest

As CrossCamp approaches its season of evangelism and public commissioning, God is preparing each pillar to become an ambassador of Christ. This preparation includes growing spiritually, learning to share your testimony, praying for unbelievers, inviting others to church, and walking alongside new believers. Our goal is not merely to increase attendance. Our goal is to make faithful disciples who will eventually disciple others.

CrossCamp Culture Statement

At CrossCamp Church, we are not building a crowd. We are raising disciples. We are not gathering spectators. We are sending laborers. We are not measuring success by numbers. We measure success by transformed lives.

Group Discussion Questions

Personal Reflection: What is the difference between a convert and a disciple? Who has helped shape your spiritual journey? How can you intentionally disciple someone else? What fears keep believers from sharing Christ? How can your lifestyle become a testimony of Jesus?

CrossCamp Reflection: Why must CrossCamp prioritize discipleship before expansion? What practical steps can we take to prepare for the August evangelism season?

Practical Assignment for the Week

1. Pray daily for three people who need Christ. 2. Write your personal testimony in one page. 3. Invite one person to attend a CrossCamp gathering. 4. Encourage one believer who appears spiritually discouraged. Record your experiences and be ready to share them during the next Pillars meeting.

Concluding Prayer Topics

Prayer for a Heart for Souls — Lord, fill my heart with Your compassion for those who do not know You.

Prayer for Boldness — Give me courage to speak about Christ without fear or shame.

Prayer for Spiritual Influence — Help my life become a testimony that points others to Jesus.

Prayer for Disciple-Making Grace — Teach me how to encourage, teach, and walk alongside others in their faith.

Prayer for CrossCamp Church — Prepare this house to raise faithful disciples who will impact families, communities, and nations.

Prayer for the Coming Evangelism Season — Go before us as we prepare for August outreach. Open hearts, prepare communities, and lead us to those who are searching for You.

Prayer for the Harvest — Lord of the harvest, send laborers into Your harvest field, beginning with us.

Final Reflective Direction

Quietly pray: "Lord Jesus, do not allow me to remain a believer who only receives. Make me a disciple who follows You faithfully and a disciple-maker who leads others into Your Kingdom. Let my life reproduce Christ in this generation."

Monthly Declaration

I am a disciple of Jesus Christ. I will grow in His Word. I will live by His example. I will love people as He loved them. I will share the Gospel with boldness. I will help others follow Christ. I will carry the vision of CrossCamp Church with humility and faithfulness. And by God's grace, I will become a faithful laborer in His harvest. In Jesus' mighty Name, Amen.

CrossCamp Leadership Insight

A healthy church is not built merely by gifted leaders; it is built by ordinary believers who have been transformed by Christ and are committed to helping others become His disciples. That is the heart of CrossCamp Church: not simply to gather people, but to raise a generation of true worshipers who faithfully make disciples for the glory of God.

Reflect & Pray

Am I only a believer who receives, or a disciple-maker who leads others into the Kingdom? Lord, let my life reproduce Christ in this generation.
