Guarding What God Has Built

Protecting the spiritual foundation already established.

• What God builds must be guarded.
• Maturity includes knowing what must not be compromised.
• Pillars are custodians of culture, doctrine, unity and spiritual atmosphere.

Paul describes himself as a wise master builder, but the foundation is Jesus Christ.

The foundation is not something we keep replacing whenever pressure comes. We build carefully on Christ and guard what has been entrusted to us.

CrossCamp must protect its culture of prayer, holiness, discipline, unity, service and faithfulness.

Nehemiah and the builders of Jerusalem worked while also keeping watch (Nehemiah 4).

• Report problems responsibly instead of silently allowing them to grow.
