September 2026 — Week 2 Established in the House: Commitment, Belonging & Faithfulness
2026 Annual Theme: FOUNDING & FLOURISHING (Psalm 92:13-14).
Stage 6: Establishment & Kingdom Readiness.
September Prophetic Theme: ESTABLISHED TO BUILD — Established in Christ, Character, Unity and Assignment.
Core Scriptures
Psalm 92:13-14 — "Those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bear fruit in old age; they shall be fresh and flourishing."
Hebrews 10:24-25 — "And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching."
1 Corinthians 12:18-27 — "But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body just as He pleased... that there should be no schism in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another. Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually."
Teaching Focus
God does not only want believers to visit His house; He wants them planted in it. There is a difference between attending a house and being planted in a house. An attendee asks, "What am I receiving?" A planted person begins asking, "What am I contributing?" An attendee can leave whenever things become inconvenient; a planted person develops roots. An attendee observes; a planted person participates.
As CrossCamp approaches its January 2027 commissioning, this distinction becomes increasingly important. The foundation season is producing people who are not simply present but planted, committed and dependable.
Part One — Those Who Are Planted
Psalm 92 does not say those who visit the house will flourish. It says those who are planted. Planting speaks of belonging, stability, commitment, patience, growth and fruitfulness. A seed that is constantly moved cannot develop deep roots. Likewise, a believer who constantly moves from place to place, commitment to commitment, and assignment to assignment may struggle to develop the stability required for long-term fruitfulness.
Being planted does not mean that a person has no weaknesses. It means the person has decided, "I will grow here." A planted believer can still need correction, teaching, maturity, healing, development and discipline. The difference is that they do not run away from the process every time they discover something uncomfortable about themselves. We are not looking for perfect pillars; we are looking for faithful pillars who are willing to be formed.
Part Two — The Power of Gathering
Hebrews encourages believers not to abandon their gathering together, because spiritual growth does not happen entirely in isolation. We need encouragement, fellowship, instruction, accountability, correction and mutual strengthening. The church is not merely a place where individuals come to receive; it is a spiritual family where believers help one another become stronger. Your presence matters — and your presence becomes even more powerful when it is accompanied by participation and responsibility.
Paul compares the church to a body with eyes, ears, hands and feet — different members with different functions, yet all belonging to one body. Belonging comes before functioning, but belonging eventually produces functioning. You should not only ask, "What can the church do for me?" You should also ask, "Where has God positioned me to strengthen His house?"
Part Three — Biblical Examples
Part Four — The Culture the Pillars Carry
CrossCamp is moving toward a public season. As new people eventually enter the church, the pillars will become the first living expression of the culture they encounter. If pillars are faithful, newcomers will learn faithfulness. If pillars are prayerful, newcomers will learn prayer. If pillars are welcoming, newcomers will experience belonging. If pillars are divided, newcomers will encounter division.
A planted pillar shows up, because faithfulness begins with presence. They stay teachable, because formation is ongoing. They protect unity and refuse to become a source of unnecessary division. They accept responsibility without always waiting to be asked. They serve without demanding recognition. They remain committed through ordinary seasons, understanding that not every season will feel exciting. And they help others become established, because a mature pillar does not only become strong personally — they help strengthen the house.

Reflective Direction
This week, practise visible faithfulness. Do not seek to impress; seek to become dependable. Be present. Be prepared. Be teachable. Be responsible. Be available. Be faithful. The goal is not to prove that you are important; the goal is to prove that God can trust you.

Monthly Declaration
Declare it aloud
I am planted in God's house.
I will not be governed by convenience.
I will grow where God has positioned me.
I will serve without comparison, remain faithful without applause, and protect the unity of the house.
I will carry my portion of the responsibility.
I am not merely attending CrossCamp; I am helping establish it.
I am planted, I am growing, and I will flourish for the glory of God.
Amen.
Reflect & Pray
Am I planted, or am I simply present? What part of God's house has He entrusted to me?
