Sent to Impact Our Generation

Living as Missionaries Wherever God Places Us.

Introduction

God has been intentionally building the foundations of CrossCamp Church — planting us in His house, forming our character, teaching us discipline, aligning us with His vision, and preparing us to become faithful servants.

God never prepares His people simply to remain where they are. He prepares them so that He can send them. A healthy church measures success by the number of believers who carry Christ into the world every day.

CrossCamp Church is not called merely to occupy a building. We are called to influence homes, schools, workplaces, businesses, communities, and nations with the life of Jesus Christ. Mission is not an activity for a few gifted people. Mission is the lifestyle of every disciple.

Part One — The Holy Spirit Empowers Us for Mission

Acts 1:8 — "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me." Before Jesus sent His disciples into the world, He instructed them to wait for the Holy Spirit. God's work cannot be accomplished by human strength alone.

The Holy Spirit empowers believers to speak with boldness, love with compassion, serve with wisdom, endure opposition, and represent Christ faithfully. His power is given to make us faithful witnesses of Jesus Christ.

Part Two — God Is Looking for Available People

Isaiah 6:8 — "Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?" Isaiah replied, "Here am I! Send me." His willingness came after his encounter with God's holiness. Before he was sent, he was cleansed. Before he served, he surrendered.

The greatest qualification for ministry is not talent. It is availability. Many people have ability. Few remain available. God often chooses those whose hearts are willing.

Part Three — Shining as Lights in Our Generation

Daniel 12:3 — "Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament, and those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever." A believer's influence should extend beyond church services into homes, workplaces, schools, businesses, and communities.

Our generation is looking for truth, hope, purpose, peace, and genuine love — found in Jesus Christ. We shine by living with integrity, speaking truth with love, serving humbly, forgiving quickly, remaining faithful, and pointing people to Christ.

Part Four — Every Pillar Is a Missionary

Mission is not limited to pastors or evangelists. Every believer has been sent by God. Your mission field may be your family, neighborhood, workplace, classroom, business, or friendships. Begin where God has planted you.

Every pillar should become available (ready whenever God calls), teachable (always willing to learn), courageous (unashamed to speak about Christ), Spirit-led, and mission-minded — always looking for opportunities to introduce people to Jesus.

Part Five — Impacting Our Generation Begins Today

Many believers wait for the "right time" to serve God. The disciples did not wait. The early church did not wait. God's mission begins today. Every prayer, every act of kindness, every invitation, every testimony becomes an opportunity for eternal impact.

Practical Assignment for the Week

Pray every morning, "Lord, send me where You want to use me today." Speak to one person about Jesus. Perform one intentional act of kindness for someone outside the church. Invite at least one person or family to CrossCamp Church.

God does not send the most talented people — He sends those whose hearts are surrendered to Him. Our greatest strength will be pillars who are filled with the Holy Spirit, rooted in Christ, and willing to say every day, "Here am I, Lord. Send me."
